Here are 3 of the biggest safety concerns we encounter when at a commercial job.

Slips, Trips, and Falls: Paint spills, wet surfaces, debris, and equipment can create slip, trip, and fall hazards on job sites. The more trades onsite means the higher the risk. We manage this risk by Maintaining a clean and organized work area, using non-slip footwear, securing equipment and materials properly, and implementing proper housekeeping practices are essential to prevent accidents and injuries.

Respiratory Hazards: Commercial painters can be exposed to airborne particles, dust, fumes, and vapors from paints, coatings, and solvents, which can irritate the respiratory system or cause respiratory illnesses. Proper ventilation, the use of respirators with appropriate filters, and limiting exposure through engineering controls or work practices are essential to protect against respiratory hazards. Prior to starting any job we make sure our guys have all the gear they need to protect their respiratory systems.

Eye Injuries: Paint splashes, flying debris, and exposure to dust or fumes can cause eye injuries or irritation to commercial painters. Wearing appropriate eye protection, such as safety glasses or goggles, is essential to prevent eye injuries and maintain eye health on the job site.
